Software Engineer

Welcome to my little corner of the internet!
I’ve been around computers for as long as I can remember—mostly playing games. A lot of them. RPGs, MOBAs, action, simulation… if it existed, I probably tried it.
Back then, I wasn’t “programming” in the traditional sense, but I was always tinkering. I set up my own Minecraft servers, went down rabbit holes figuring out how MapleStory private servers worked, and messed around with networking configs just to get past region locks. I didn’t realize it at the time, but I was already enjoying the process of breaking things apart and figuring out how they worked.
Funny enough, programming didn’t click for me early on—and definitely not from textbooks. I wasn’t the typical computer science student either; my background was in cybersecurity. It wasn’t until my final year project that things really changed.
I built a honeypot system to demonstrate how packet filtering and deception techniques could help protect against insider threats. Somewhere between the trial-and-error, the debugging, and building it out with C# and ASP.NET, something just clicked. I started to genuinely enjoy the process—experimenting, building, fixing, and slowly turning ideas into something real.
That was the moment I realized this was what I wanted to do.
Fast forward five years, and I’m now working as a software engineer—still learning, still building, still chasing that same curiosity that got me started. I care about creating things that are meaningful, useful, and well-crafted, and I’m always looking for ways to get a little better at it every day.
Anyway, Thanks for stopping by.
